With many years of the same label treatment, Smart needed a visual refresh that would convey its premium quality. We used foil labels to indicate this, and allow it to stand out on the shelf against its competitors.

We pushed the bar on what foil could do, with varying ink strengths/opacities to achieve an overall design that glistened at varying angles.

Detailed icons were designed to illustrate each of the advanced technologies that went into each Smart paint line.
